Das Nationalparkamt Hunsrück-Hochwald stellt mit der Nationalpark App ein Informationsangebot im Rahmen der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Umweltbildung zur Verfügung.

Zur Bereitstellung des Informationsangebots werden folgende Daten verarbeitet:

Die App bietet die Möglichkeit, Informationen zu Touren und Besonderheiten im Nationalpark von einem zentralen Informationssystem (Redaktionssystem) abzurufen. Das Informationsangebot nutzt verschiedene Formate (Text, Bild, Karte, Video, Audio). Die abgerufenen Daten werden auf dem anfragenden mobilen Endgerät gespeichert. Viele Inhalte aus dem Redaktionssystem werden bereits beim erstmaligen Starten der App auf das mobile Endgerät geladen. Darüber hinaus können Informationen über Funktionen der App vom mobilen Endgerät gelöscht und vom zentralen Redaktionssystem abgerufen und gespeichert werden.

Protokollierung, IP-Adressen, Standortdaten, Nutzungsstatistiken

Um Ihre aktuelle Position auf der Karte und Tourstopps in der Nähe anzuzeigen, erfasst die App Standortdaten, selbst wenn die App geschlossen ist oder im Hintergrund läuft.

Voraussetzung hierfür ist, dass Sie der App die entsprechenden Standort-Berechtigungen gewährt haben.

Die App übermittelt vom mobilen Endgerät nur Daten an das zentrale Informationssystem, die zum Abruf von Daten aus dem Redaktionssystem bzw. zum ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb des Informationsangebots benötigt werden.

Zur Auslieferung von angefragten Informationen wird die übermittelte IP-Adresse genutzt. Die IP-Adresse wird technisch benötigt, um die HTTP-Anfrage des Clients (App) zu beantworten, d.h. den Inhalt der angefragten HTML-Seite oder Multimedia-Datei (Bild, Audio, Video) auszuliefern. Die IP-Adresse wird darüber hinaus nicht gespeichert oder weitergeleitet. Es erfolgt also ausdrücklich auch keine Speicherung der IP-Adresse in Log-Dateien des Servers.

Mit Installation der App wird eine eindeutige anonyme Identifikationsnummer vergeben und auf dem mobilen Endgerät gespeichert. Diese anonyme Identifikationsnummer wird für den ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb des Systems und für Auswertungen im Hinblick auf das Informationsangebot verwendet.

Es werden folgende Daten bei Zugriffen auf das zentrale System gespeichert und darüber hinaus verarbeitet:

Informationen über den Browsertyp und die verwendete Version (in gekürzter Form)
das Betriebssystem des Nutzers (in gekürzter Form)
Datum und Uhrzeit des Zugriffs
Name / ID der aufgerufenen Information / Datei
die ausgewählte Sprache in der App
anonyme Identifikationsnummer

Die zur Administration des Systems erhobenen Daten werden zentral auf dem Webserver in einer Log-Datei gespeichert und nach 60 Tagen gelöscht.

Das Nationalparkamt möchte sein Informationsangebot laufend verbessern und auch über die Wirkung des Angebots berichten. Deshalb werden Zugriffe auf das zentrale Redaktionssystem in anonymisierter Form im Hinblick auf die Nutzung des Informationsangebots in einer Datenbank gespeichert und für Statistikzwecke ausgewertet.

Für die Nutzungsstatistik werden folgende Daten weiter ausgewertet:

Rechtsgrundlage für die Verarbeitung der Daten

Die Verarbeitung dieser Daten erfolgt auf der Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 Buchstabe e, Abs. 2, Abs. 3 Buchstabe b DS-GVO i.V.m. § 3 Landesdatenschutzgesetz Rheinland-Pfalz (LDSG).

Unterstützung beim Betrieb der App

Die Nationalpark App wird betreut von der Firma INIT AG und von der Firma Fluxguide Ausstellungssysteme GmbH als Dienstleister betrieben. Die dortige Verarbeitung erfolgt in unserem Auftrag und nach unseren Vorgaben entsprechend Art. 28 DS-GVO. Die redaktionelle Verantwortung liegt beim Nationalparkamt Hunsrück-Hochwald.

Das Datenzentrum, in dem das Redaktionssystem gehostet wird, steht in Frankfurt, Deutschland.

The Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park Authority provides the National Park App as an information tool for public relations work and environmental education.

The following data is processed in order to provide the information offer:

The app offers the possibility to retrieve information on tours and special features in the National Park from a central information system (editorial system). The information offer uses different formats (text, image, map, video, audio). The retrieved data is stored on the requesting mobile device. Many contents from the editorial system are already loaded onto the mobile end device when the app is started for the first time. In addition, information about functions of the app can be deleted from the mobile end device and retrieved and stored by the central editorial system.

Logging, IP addresses, location data, usage statistics

In order to display your current position on the map and tour stops in the vicinity, the app collects location data, even if the app is closed or running in the background.

The prerequisite for this is that you have granted the app the corresponding location permissions.

The app only transmits data from the mobile end device to the central information system that is required to retrieve data from the editorial system or to properly operate the information service.

The transmitted IP address is used to deliver requested information. The IP address is technically required to answer the HTTP request of the client (app), i.e. to deliver the content of the requested HTML page or multimedia file (image, audio, video). The IP address is not stored or forwarded beyond this. Therefore, the IP address is explicitly not stored in the server’s log files.

When the app is installed, a unique anonymous identification number is assigned and stored on the mobile device. This anonymous identification number is used for the proper operation of the system and for evaluations with regard to the information offered.

The following data is stored and also processed when the central system is accessed:

Information on the type of browser and the version used (in abbreviated form)
the user’s operating system (in abbreviated form)
date and time of access
name / ID of the accessed information / file
the selected language in the app
anonymous identification number

The data collected for the administration of the system is stored centrally on the web server in a log file and deleted after 60 days.

The National Park Authority would like to continuously improve its information offer and also report on the impact of the offer. For this reason, accesses to the central editorial system are stored in a database in anonymised form with regard to the use of the information offer and evaluated for statistical purposes.

The following data are further evaluated for the usage statistics:

Legal basis for the processing of the data

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 letter e, para. 2, para. 3 letter b DS-GVO in conjunction with. § Section 3 of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Data Protection Act (LDSG).

Support for the operation of the app

The National Park App is supported by the company INIT AG and operated by the company Fluxguide Ausstellungssysteme GmbH as a service provider. The processing there is carried out on our behalf and according to our specifications in accordance with Art. 28 DS-GVO. Editorial responsibility lies with the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park Authority.

The data centre hosting the editorial system is located in Frankfurt, Germany.
