With history, naturally!

Nationalpark Hunsruck-Hochwald

Experience the National Park

There are two ways to see the “human” side of the National Park in our programms.

Our certified National Park guides lead the walks which you can find in our event calendar or book as a group. We also offer tailor-made tours. Whether you want to walk, cycle, ride a horse or have accessibility requirements, we tailor the tour to your needs while taking the desired theme into consideration. We encourage you to avail of this great opportunity.

Whilst visiting the park you will often encounter our rangers. They are responsible for lots of different tasks in the National Park, one of which is patrolling the area. You can accompany these people in big black hats on their patrols and watch them as they work to learn about nature or hear some of Hunsrück’s history. This offer takes place  on from April until November every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. From January to March and November to December every Friday and Sunday. The Rangertours with the National Parkguides are  for individuals and families and free of charge. To protect the natural environment and to guarantee the quality of our tours, places are limited. Pre-registration is not possible.
